Take a look a selection of illustration work from my sketchbook. I used my sketchbooks to ‘play’, and see what happens. Its a safe place to experiment with materials and to work out characters, stories and composition.

I’ve included some of my digital experimentation here too. These started out in my sketchbook and then evolve while I am experimenting with analogue materials and digital software.

Often I will fill sketchbooks with observational drawings while I’m out and about and sometime I use them to empty my head of all the ideas whizzing around in there!
